On this pool and landscape design, there is a dramatic difference in the appearance of the plantings over the course of 6 years.  The project was installed in 2007.  After a few years, the plantings really start to fill-out and grow.  Ornamental grasses, evergreen trees and shrubs and ground-covers can sometimes become full and mature in just a year or two while other plants may take many years to reach their full height and size potential.
