As founder and Principal of Sean Jancski Landscape Architects, Sean’s mission is to draw people outside. He designs carefully-crafted personalized spaces that extend and enhance the enjoyment and usage of each client’s property. Sean has passion for technology in design, and is able to create 3d renderings nearly identical to their eventual outcomes. He is an adept problem-solver who sees obstacles as opportunities.

Sean has over 25 years experience as a registered landscape architect in New York and Connecticut, is LEED certified (Building Design and Construction), and a long-standing member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). When not designing award-winning landscapes, he can be found pursuing one of his many hobbies, including carpentry, kiteboarding, surfing and scuba diving.

Juliana Alzate RLA ASLASenior Landscape Architect

Juliana brings to SJLA a commitment to the creation of exceptional gathering spaces, where people can relax, play and connect. She is a natural collaborator with clients and professionals, and excels in team collaborative environments. Juliana’s superior presentation graphic skills are responsible for many of SJLA’s awards and recognitions.

As a registered landscape architect (RLA), Juliana brings over ten years experience in planning, designing and implementing landscapes that have postivie impacts on client’s lives. She holds a bachelor of science in Landscape Architecture (BSLA) and a master’s degree in Urban Planning (MLA) and is a member of multiple networking groups. When not working on her projects, she can often be found with family or training, as she is also an accomplished strength and endurance athlete.

Elise Shallbetter BSLALandscape Designer

Elise’s responsibilities include developing conceptual and schematic designs, site analysis, design development, and the production of construction documents. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, and is skilled in horticulture, landscape plantings and design. Past experience includes working at Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny, France.

Jackie Helms BLALandscape Architect

Jackie has been designing and managing landscape design and construction projects for years. Her responsibilities and skills run the gamut from Schematic and Conceptual Designs, Construction Documents and Bidding, Construction Management, Planting Design, Permitting and Approvals and most other aspects of our practice.

Victoria Kam BLALandscape Designer

Victoria Kam is a Landscape Designer with over a decade of experience crafting sustainable, personalized outdoor living spaces. Specializing in residential design of outdoor spaces, she bridges the gap between creative vision and practical execution, ensuring every project is managed efficiently from concept to completion. Victoria is dedicated to working closely with homeowners to transform their properties into accessible, beautiful retreats that align with their lifestyle.

Kelly Jancski, M.S.

Kelly is literally married to her work (she’s Sean’s wife). As head of office operations, she does a bit of everything, functioning as a combined bookkeeping, marketing, human resources and everything-else department. Also a teacher, Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication/Marketing and a master’s degree in Secondary Education. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor with a 500 hour training. When not at work, like Sean, she can often be found on, under or near the water, gardening and beading.
